Our Best Golf Tournament Yet

On September 2, RWC Systems brought together employees, customers, partners, and sponsors for our 2026 Golf Tournament at Swaneset Bay Resort & Country Club.

We have hosted golf tournaments before, but this one was something special.

From the people who joined us to the sponsors who helped bring the course to life, there was a great atmosphere from the beginning of the day right through to the end. The weather may not have completely cooperated, but a little rain certainly did not stop anyone from enjoying themselves.

Rain jackets came out, umbrellas went up, and the tournament carried on with plenty of smiles.

More Than 18 Holes of Golf

The tournament was played in a scramble format, giving every golfer a chance to contribute to their team throughout the round. Each player teed off, the team selected its best shot, and everyone continued from there, with each golfer required to contribute at least two drives.

But there was much more happening around the course than golf.

Players had the chance to compete in longest drive and closest-to-the-pin contests, along with a $10,000 hole-in-one challenge on Hole 16 and RWC’s pre-fab chipping contest on Hole 18.

Food stations along the course kept everyone fuelled throughout the day, including pork sliders and jerk chicken skewers sponsored by CertainTeed.

And, of course, there were plenty of prizes to be won.

Bringing Our Industry Together

As much as we enjoy a little friendly competition, the RWC Golf Tournament has always been about the people.

Our work gives us the opportunity to collaborate with great customers, suppliers, partners, and industry colleagues throughout the year. A tournament like this gives everyone a chance to get away from the jobsite and the office, spend some time together, and strengthen those relationships outside of the usual workday.

That was what made this year’s tournament such a success.

Even with the rain coming down, the course was full of people laughing, competing, catching up, and enjoying the day together.
