Data centres are not built on construction timelines — they are built on market timelines. The AI and cloud-computing boom means that for every operator, every week a facility is not online is revenue that cannot be recovered. GCs managing these projects do not have room for a trade partner who is slow to mobilize, short on manpower, or unable to compress the schedule when it matters.
RWC Systems understands what “on time, on the dot” means on a data centre site. We plan manpower readiness before the project starts, scale crews on demand — including double shifts when the schedule requires it — and maintain close coordination with the GC and other trades throughout. When the critical path calls for it, we move.

In most commercial construction, rework is an inconvenience. In a data centre, it is not an option.
Once servers are live and a facility is energized, site access is restricted. Security protocols lock out the trades. There is no corrective pass. That means every wall assembly, every fire stop, every penetration interface with mechanical, electrical, and data installations has to be precise from the start.

Data centre construction is not complex the way a hospital is complex or the way a transit project is complex. It is complex in its own way — dense mechanical and electrical infrastructure running through walls and ceilings, overlapping trade sequences with zero tolerance for interference, and an aggressive timeline that means every delay cascades immediately.
We have built our execution model around multi-trade coordination. Our field teams understand the sequencing, know how to interface with HVAC, electrical, and data installation crews without slowing them down, and are supervised closely enough that issues are caught and resolved on the day — not after.
If a standard TI requires a 7 out of 10 for coordination, a data centre requires a 10. We staff accordingly.
