RWC Systems Achieves Substantial Completion on the Ksyen Regional Hospital Project

RWC Systems is proud to announce the substantial completion of the Ksyen Regional Hospital project, previously known as the Mills Memorial Hospital Redevelopment project. This project, which has been in progress since April 2022, represents a significant milestone not only for RWC Systems but also for the healthcare infrastructure in the region.

RWC was responsible for the construction of the L2-L4 sections of the hospital, specializing in the installation of specialty drywall, steel stud framing, and ceilings. Achieving substantial completion marks the near-final phase of this critical project, signaling the readiness of these key sections of the hospital for the final stages of inspection and commissioning.

The hospital redevelopment project in Terrace, BC, is vital to transforming an outdated facility into a modern healthcare hub capable of addressing the region’s growing needs. Spanning 356,500 square feet, this new acute care hospital is designed to offer expanded medical services in an area where healthcare demand has outpaced the capacity of the original hospital. The entire redevelopment project, with an estimated cost of $623 million, is a cornerstone for improving healthcare accessibility in Northwestern BC.
