Description

RWC Systems is delivering the full wall and ceiling package for the new 11-storey acute care tower at the Prince Albert Victoria Hospital in northern Saskatchewan — including 1.9 million sq ft of drywall, 1.24 million linear ft of steel studs, and 300,000 sq ft of ceilings. With about 20 % of the project complete (basement framing & boarding finished, floors 1-5 east side in first and second pass), the facility is designed to expand health-care capacity with new acute-care beds, emergency services, surgical suites and NICU access closer to northern communities. The work includes premium acoustic wood and baffle ceilings, 360° construction capture technology for enhanced efficiency and oversight, and a team experienced in hospital-grade construction dealing with complex compliance, lead shielding and stringent acoustical/fire ratings.
