Description
RWC Systems has been awarded the contract for the airport terminal building expansion at Kelowna International Airport, which serves as British Columbia’s second major gateway and key link for the Okanagan Valley. Their scope includes installation of steel-stud framing, drywall systems and acoustic ceilings. The expansion’s first phase, initiated in Fall 2022 and scheduled to conclude by 2026, will enlarge the Departures Lounge, upgrade security screening and improve wayfinding, with Phase 2 slated for 2036 to expand arrival and baggage areas.
