HYAD Place is a supportive housing project for young adults with developmental disabilities. The project allows young adults with disabilities to live independently in their own apartments but also collectively, as the project features amenity space and a kitchen for preparing common meals. A life skills worker works with residents to plan and develop group activities and programs that enhance practical, co-operative and safety skills and an on-site property manager is available for security and to respond to emergencies.
For this project, we focused on the interior of the building providing drywall and Acoustic and T-Bar ceilings.
