About Capstan Skytrain Station

Capstan Station, a key addition to the Canada Line, is designed to improve transit accessibility in one of Richmond’s rapidly growing areas. Featuring environmentally friendly design elements and modern amenities, this station is a significant milestone in TransLink’s vision of sustainable urban transit.

Scope of work included:

Drywall and Steel Stud Installation: Ensuring a durable and efficient structure to meet the station’s needs.
Taping and Finishing: Delivering flawless surfaces that meet high-quality standards.
Nelson Panel Ceilings: Installing uniquely designed, acoustically engineered ceilings that enhance the station’s aesthetic and functionality.

Project Stats

571,212 man-hours were spent to bring this project to completion
29,328 square feet of gypsum products were installed
73,318 linear feet of steel was used for framing
Over 750 aluminum perforated ceiling panels of various sizes were installed
8,428 square feet of finished ceiling area, including vertical perimeter panelling
