The RWC Year-End Company Luncheon took place on Friday, December 15th. RWC staff enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner, speeches, a fun quiz with prizes, and a recognition ceremony for our some of our longest-serving employees. Garth Robertson, Founder and Managing Director of RWC, addressed staff on 5 attributes of a highly successful company, and notable projects in the history of RWC. Rod Robertson, Director of Operations, recognized RWC staff for years of service. Brenda Zhou of RWC Accounting department, even took home a drone as a prize for her high score on the RWC fun facts quiz! All in all, a very memorable event for all.

Congratulations to our December Gem Award recipient, Robert W. Robert was awarded the GEM award, by his co-workers for always willing to take on a new challenge, and help others. Robert was instrumental in the success of our new ERP program, Plexxis. Robert’s co-workers stated, “Rob always goes above and beyond”. “There is never a dull day with Rob, he contributes so much to the entire RWC Team”. Rob works at head office, and has been with RWC since 2015.
Congratulations to our November “Go the Extra Mile” award recipient, Greg Boseley. Greg has been with RWC Systems since 2015.
Greg was nominated for always stepping up and assisting the Foreman where needed. Greg is a team player and goes above and beyond his duties. This was evident when he helped Robert Ryan organize work schedules for 11 tapers on site under a tight schedule.

October GEM Recipient – Chris Furness
Chris Furness has been working with RWC Systems since April 2015. Chris was recognized for his outstanding work at the Parq site where he took the initiative to keep the PlanGrid drawings up to date as well as other requests. Chris’s colleague nominated Chris for his collaborative spirit, enthusiasm and “can do” attitude.
