Congratulations to our December Gem Award recipient, Robert W. Robert was awarded the GEM award, by his co-workers for always willing to take on a new challenge, and help others. Robert was instrumental in the success of our new ERP program, Plexxis. Robert’s co-workers stated, “Rob always goes above and beyond”. “There is never a dull day with Rob, he contributes so much to the entire RWC Team”. Rob works at head office, and has been with RWC since 2015.
Congratulations to our November “Go the Extra Mile” award winner, Greg Boseley. Greg has been with Robertson Walls & Ceilings since 2015.
Greg was nominated for always stepping up and assisting the Foreman where needed. Greg is a team player and goes above and beyond his duties. This was evident when he helped Robert Ryan organize work schedules for 11 tapers on site under a tight schedule.
Greg always has a great attitude. Robertson Walls & Ceilings appreciates all your hard work!
October GEM Winner – Chris Furness
Chris Furness has been working with Robertson Walls & Ceilings since April 2015. Chris was recognized for his outstanding work at the Parq site where he took the initiative to keep the PlanGrid drawings up to date as well as other requests. Chris’s colleague nominated Chris for his collaborative spirit, enthusiasm and “can do” attitude.
September GEM Winner – Dieter Kroll
Dieter Kroll was awarded the September Gem award for his commitment to safety, always looking out for issues that may arise. Dieter has worked with Robertson Walls & Ceilings since November 2015. Dieter goes above and beyond by supervising and training other laborers and consistently working afternoon and nights. Dieter’s commitment to RWC was realized when he read a contract and discovered that the GC was responsible for providing the drywall bins, which saved RWC a lot of money. Dieter’s nominator said, “that Dieter’s area of work is immaculate and never has to be checked.” Robertson Walls & Ceiling appreciates Dieter’s dedicated efforts. Dieter is currently working at the Brentwood Mall project.
August GEM Winner – Anthony Kerr
Anthony was awarded the August Gem award by his peers for consistently making an effort to improve or correct a specific aspect of safety within the workplace. Anthony is very dedicated to fulfilling his job responsibilities and requires little supervision. Anthony’s nominator said, “he is always willing to share his knowledge, skills and experience with others.” Anthony has worked with Robertson Walls and Ceilings for 2 years. Robertson knows the amount of effort Anthony puts into his work and would like him to know his efforts are very much appreciated. Anthony is currently at the Lynn Valley Mall project.
July GEM Award Winner – Mario Galdones
Mario was awarded the July Gem award by his peers for being pro-active towards the safety of his crew on site and for being fully prepared each work day on the UBC projects. Mario has worked with Robertson Walls & Ceilings since March 2016. Mario’s nominator said that, “ Mario has patience and is always willing to train apprentices.” His ability to think ahead and have supplies ready, enabled Mario to run two projects at once. RWC recognizes that Mario’s abilities and contributions are an important key to the success of Robertson Walls & Ceilings. Thank you and congratulations!
Congratulations to our June Gem award winner, Karina Logan, RWC’s receptionist and marketing assistant. Karina is the first-person visitors meet when they come to RWC Office, and her warm, friendly manner makes everyone feel welcome. She was recognized by a fellow peer for going above and beyond by proving to be really organized while dealing with multiple demands at once. Karina always makes sure the little details are attended to, whether it be for a staff event or just helping staff and visitors with their questions. Karina represents what is best about our organization. Karina has been working for Robertson Walls & Ceilings since February 2016.
Our May GEM Award Winner was Matt Cronan. Matt has been working for Robertson Walls & Ceilings since September 2016, and is currently working at our PARQ Resort & Casino site. He was recognized for always willing to work later than expected and on weekends – whatever is needed to get the job done! Matt always leads by example and is a good team player.
Big congratulations are in order for our April “Go the Extra Mile” award winner, Dallas Schlief!
Dallas began working at RWC in June 2016. Dallas is one of our Foremen at RWC and is currently working on the PARQ Casino Project. He frequently goes above and beyond his own responsibilities, and never shys away from taking on an additional favor or task.
Greg was our March GEM winner. Congratulations! Greg works the night shift at the Joyce SkyTrain station. Greg has been working for Robertson Walls & Ceilings since June 2016. Your co-worker stated; “Your consistent willingness to step up and how you never settle for anything less than the Robertson Standard”.
